Fraidycat does not collect data of any kind.

• Fraidycat does not keep personal data on any remote server - there is no central database.
• Fraidycat doesn't contain any analytic or telemetry code.
• Fraidycat doesn't accept donations or any other form of financing.

Fraidycat does make two requests to a central server.

• https://fraidyc.at/s/ is a blank HTML page that the extension injects content into - no personal data or identifying IDs (or cookies) are sent to this page. (This is done for performance reasons.)
• https://fraidyc.at/defs/social.json is a list of rules used when fetching feeds. This is checked hourly for updates.

List of feeds and post content is all kept locally in a database on the user's device. If the user is logged into the browser, the extension will sync the feed list with the the browser's central account database.
